About us

Göranssonska School was founded in 2002 in collaboration between Sandviken municipality and Sandvik AB, with the aim of creating a lively education close to the labor market. Students attend a three-year industrial technology program that provides the opportunity to either continue studying or work directly after school. Here, you are right in the middle of both studies and working life – the best of both worlds!

About the job

You will teach our students both theoretically and practically in machining, for example in turning and milling, and you will be responsible for assessment, follow-up, and grading. You will also inspire participation and good study results.

We take responsibility for both the work environment and student health, and together with us, you will actively work to develop the school, our students, and our staff.

Who you are

We are looking for someone with broad knowledge and practical experience in machining, manual turning, and milling, and who has previously worked with CNC machines. If you also have knowledge of CAD/CAM, that is a plus. For this role, we would like you to have experience with young people in some form, and it is of course a great advantage if you have a teaching degree. You need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.

Your personality is very important to us! You are confident in yourself, have a humble approach, and high integrity. You are good at meeting people, and through clear and trustworthy communication, you create good collaborations. You are also very interested in sharing your knowledge and show genuine commitment to our students and their learning.
